Abstract

¸ñÀû: Áø·á ½Ã °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¼³¸í°ú ÃßõÀ» ¿øÇÏ´Â °æ¿ì¸¦ ÀÚÁÖ °æÇèÇϳª °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¿¬±¸°¡ ºÎÁ·ÇÑ »óÅÂÀ̹ǷΠÈçÈ÷ »ç¿ëµÇ´Â °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦ÀÇ »ç¿ë ½ÇÅÂ¿Í ÀÌ¿¡ ¹ÌÄ¡´Â ¿©·¯ °¡Áö ÀÎÀÚ¿¡ ´ëÇØ ¾Ë¾Æº¸°íÀÚ 24°³ ¹®Ç×À¸·Î ÀÌ·ïÁø ¼³¹®Áö¸¦ ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© Á¶»ç¸¦ ½ÃÇàÇÏ¿´´Ù.

¹æ¹ý: 2013³â 1¿ùºÎÅÍ 8¿ù±îÁö ¼øõÇâ´ëÇб³ ±¸¹Ìº´¿ø ¼Ò¾Æû¼Ò³â°ú¿¡ ³»¿øÇÑ 1~8¼¼(12~107°³¿ù) ¼Ò¾Æ º¸È£ÀÚ 1,000¸íÀ» ´ë»óÀ¸·Î 24°³ ¹®Ç×À¸·Î ÀÌ·ïÁø ¼³¹®Áö¿¡ ´äÇϵµ·Ï ÇÏ¿© ȸ¼öµÈ 962ºÎÀÇ ¼³¹®Áö¸¦ Ttest, Chi-scquare test¸¦ ÅëÇÏ¿© ºÐ¼®ÇÏ¿´´Ù.

°á°ú: ÀÀ´äÀ» ÇÑ 962¸í Áß 611¸í(63.5%)¿¡¼­ °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÏ¿´°Å³ª »ç¿ë ÁßÀ̾úÀ¸¸ç, 351¸í(36.5%)Àº »ç¿ë °æÇèÀÌ ¾ø¾ú´Ù. ¼ºº°, ºÐ¸¸ ¹æ¹ý, Ãâ»ý½Ã üÁß, ÇöÀç ½ÅÀå, ºÎ¸ðÀÇ °íÇзÂ, °¡°è ¼Òµæ Ç׸ñÀº ¾çÂÊ ±º¿¡¼­ Â÷ÀÌ°¡ ¾ø¾úÀ¸³ª ¹Ì¼÷¾Æ Ãâ»ý ½Ã, Àú½ÅÀåÀÏ ¶§, ÇöÀç üÁßÀÌ ÀÛÀ» ¶§, ù°¾ÆÀÌ, ºÎ¸ðÀÇ ¿¬·ÉÀÌ ³ôÀ» ¶§, ºÎÀÇ Á÷¾÷ÀÌ ¿¬±¸¿ø, È¥ÇÕ¼öÀ¯, ¼±Ãµ¼º ÁúȯÀ» Æ÷ÇÔÇÑ º´·ÂÀÌ ÀÖ´Â °æ¿ì¿¡ °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦¸¦ º¹¿ëÇÑ °æ¿ì°¡ ¸¹Àº °ÍÀ¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù. º¹¿ë °æÇèÀÌ Àִ ȯ¾Æ Áß °Ç°­±â´É½ÄÇ°À» º¹¿ëÇÑ °æ¿ì°¡ 77.0%·Î °¡Àå ¸¹¾Ò°í ¼¼ºÎ Á¾·ù·Î´Â Á¤ÀåÁ¦¸¦ º¹¿ëÇÑ °æ¿ì°¡ 30.1%·Î °¡Àå ¸¹¾ÒÀ¸¸ç º¹¿ë °¡Áþ¼ö´Â 2~3°¡Áö°¡ 69.5%·Î ¸¹¾Ò´Ù. º¹¿ë ÀÌÀ¯·Î´Â ¸é¿ª·Â ÁõÁøÀ» À§ÇÏ¿©°¡ 33.0%·Î °¡Àå ¸¹¾Ò°í ÁÖ·Î ºÎ¸ðÀÇ ÀÇÁö·Î °áÁ¤ÇÑ °æ¿ì°¡ 49.3%·Î ÀÇ·áÁø¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ Ãßõ 13.6% º¸´Ù ¿ùµîÈ÷ ¸¹¾Ò´Ù. ¼±Åà ½Ã °¡Àå Áß¿äÇÏ°Ô »ý°¢ÇÏ´Â ºÎºÐÀº È¿°ú·Î 93.1%À̾úÀ¸³ª º¹¿ëÇÑ °æ¿ì Áß È¿°ú¸¦ °æÇèÇÏÁö ¸øÇß´Ù°í ´ë´äÇÑ ±ºÀÌ 50.2%·Î °¡Àå ¸¹¾Ò´Ù.

°á·Ð: ±¸¹ÌÁö¿ª ´ë»ó¾ÆÀÇ ºÎ¸ðµéÀº ¾ÆÀ̵éÀÇ °Ç°­¿¡ ¸¹Àº °ü½ÉÀ» °®°í °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦¸¦ ¼±È£ÇÏ¿© ´Ù¾çÇÏ°Ô »ç¿ëÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀ» ¾Ë ¼ö ÀÖ¾úÀ¸¸ç °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÔ¿¡ À־ ÀÇ·áÁøº¸´Ù´Â ºÎ¸ðÀÇ ÀÇÁö³ª ºñÀÇ·áÁø¿¡ ÀÇÇØ °áÁ¤µÇ´Â °æ¿ì°¡ ¸¹¾Ò´Ù. °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦ Á¾·ù¿¡ À־µµ 2~3°¡Áö¸¦ º¹¿ëÇÏ´Â °æ¿ì°¡ ¸¹¾Ò°í È¿°ú¸¦ °æÇèÇÏÁö ¸øÇß´Ù´Â ÀÀ´äÀÌ ¸¹¾Ò´Ù. °Ç°­º¸Á¶Á¦ÀÇ ¿Ã¹Ù¸¥ ¼±ÅÃÀ» À¯µµÇÏ°í ³²¿ëÀ» ¸·±â À§ÇØ ºÎ¸ð¿¡°Ô ½Å·Ú¼º ÀÖ´Â Á¤º¸¿Í °¡À̵å¶óÀÎÀ» Á¦½ÃÇؾßÇϸç ÇÊ¿äÇÑ ÀÌÀ¯°¡ ÀÖÀ» ¶§´Â ÀûÀýÇÑ °ÍÀ» Àû±ØÀûÀ¸·Î ÃßõÇÏ°í ±Ù°Å¾øÀÌ »ç¿ëÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ±ÝÇϵµ·Ï ÁöµµÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â ÀÇ·áÁøµéÀÇ Àû±ØÀûÀÎ ±³À°ÀÚ¼¼°¡ ÇÊ¿äÇÏ°Ú´Ù.

Purpose: People want recommendations for dietary supplements during their visit to the clinic. We investigated the current status of taking dietary supplements and the factors affecting them.

Method: The survey was conducted in 1,000 parents of children aged 1~8 years who visited the Department of Pediatrics, Soonchunhyang University Gumi Hospital between January and August 2013.

Results: In 962 respondents among 1,000 subjects, 611 (63.5%) took dietary supplements whereas 351 (36.5%) have never taken them. There were no differences in gender, delivery method, birth weight, current height, and household income between taking and non-taking dietary supplements group ; however, in the cases of premature baby, low height, low current weight, the first child, old parents, the father who is the professionals, mixed milk feeding, and hospitalized previously, they took dietary supplements more than the others. Among children taking dietary supplements, 77.0% took health functional foods; 30.1% of them was probiotics, and the number was 2~3 kinds according to 69.5%. The reasons for taking them included immunity improvement by 33.0%, with decision by parents¡¯ will (49.3%) other than doctors¡¯ recommendation (13.6%). The most important reason why taking dietary supplements was efficient health improvement (93.1%), but, 50.2% of taking group did not experience any effect.

Conclusion: Surveyed parents in the Gumi area favored to take dietary supplements. The active participation of medical professionals is important to guide the proper selection to whom necessary and to prevent misuse or abuse of dietary supplements without reason.
